NOTE TO COMPETITORS: Please bring your own linens if you are being spray tanned as Holiday Villa has advised that guests will be charged for damages to linens due to spray tanning. NPC Worldwide Membership:

It is mandatory for all athletes to register for the NPC Worldwide Membership on a yearly basis. Upon registration, you shall receive your NPC membership number. Please note that if you are not registered, you will not be able to compete. We encourage all athletes to pre-register BEFORE signing up for a competition. If you have not registered, please click here to register.

Athlete’s check-in:

All athletes need to be present the day BEFORE competition to register and check in. No check in will be allowed on the day of the event. If an athlete fails to show up for the check-in, he/she will be considered a NO SHOW for the competition. The registration fee shall not be refunded in the event that the athlete missed the check-in.

Registration Fees:

For athletes who have paid the registration fees, there is STRICTLY no refund of registration fee paid under any circumstances.

Tickets:

There will be VIP tickets, audience tickets and backstage passes sold. All tickets sold are final and shall not be cancelled, changed or refunded under any circumstances.

Competition Day:

All athletes are required to standby at least 1.5 hours at the waiting room / backstage before the start of your category. If you are not present when a staff member calls you to line up, you may be disqualified.

Tanning:

The official tanning partner of NPC Worldwide and IFBB Pro League Malaysia is Protan. It is mandatory for all athletes to only apply Protan at the venue, no other tanning products are allowed.

NPC Regional Certification:

It is mandatory for all athletes to compete in a NPC Regional Show each year to obtain the NPC Regional Cert. The NCP Regional Cert is only valid within the same year. If your country has a NPC Regional Show, then you must compete in your own country first. For these 7 countries - Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, you may compete in a NPC Regional Show in one of these countries. After obtaining the NPC Regional Cert, you will then be allowed to compete in any IFBB Pro Qualifier shows worldwide.

Please note: The NPC Regional Cert will not be given to an athlete who registered for a show, but didn’t go up the stage. This athlete will be considered “Did Not Finish” (DNF) and no cert will be issued.

Category Definition:

“True Novice” means a competitor who has never competed within NPC Worldwide.

“Novice” means a competitor who, in the current contest year, has not won an Overall in a Novice, Masters or Open contest, or who has not won in an Open class with three or more competitors.

“Junior” means a competitor who is 18-23 years old.

“Master” means a competitor who is 35 years of age or older.

IFBB Pro Cards:

If there are no more than 5 competitors in a category, no Pro Card will be issued.

(Exception: If however there is a high-level competitor equivalent to the IFBB Professional athletes, then the IFBB Pro League may award him/her with a Pro Card at a later date after deliberation.)

Judging:

Judges present at all contest are IFBB Pro League Official judges. They are invited internationally from various countries. No local judges will be used at the event to ensure that the contest is held in a fair manner to the athletes.

Athlete’s Responsibility:

Upon participating in the competition, you agree to be held responsible to the followings:

  • You will keep the hotel / venue clean (including the hotel room)

  • You will handle your own personal belongings with care.

  • In case of theft, loss or damage, the organisers will not assume any responsibility.
